Long known in China as “The Immortal Health Elixer,” because it’s full of probiotics that are great for your digestive system, Kombucha is made from sweetened tea and fermented until fizzy. Add chopped fruit, juice, honey, or flavored tea to create a sweet, tart low-calorie treat.
Now you can learn how to make Kombucha for yourself in Snow Creek Larkspur’s kickoff Kombucha class!
Wendy Jeub is your guide to this delicious and nutritious new hobby. Wendy has authored cookbooks and books on nutrition, and has a popular YouTube channel (with over 7000 views of her how-to-video) dedicated to teaching everyone how they can access the health benefits of this deliciously effervescent Chinese beverage.
Making and bottling your own Kombucha takes a bit of skill, but once Wendy shows you how to get into the rhythm of it, it will be easy and fun. Plus if you love it as much as we do, making it at home will save you lots of money and time!
Let Wendy show you how to make Kombucha – up to 20 gallons per week – right in your own kitchen!
The class runs from 2PM to 430PM on April 16th, and tickets are limited, so act now to secure your space!
At the end of your kombucha class, you get to keep:
- Your own jar to take home
- A “SCOBY,” starter kit (the beneficial bacteria similar to yeast that give Kombucha its fizz)
- A set of clear, concise written instructions so you can get started on your new hobby as soon as you get back to your kitchen!
The supplies alone for this task are not cheap, so don’t miss out on a great deal and a fun afternoon at the farm, with one of Colorado’s true Kombucha masters!
Kombucha is earthy and tart at first, with a bit of a bite. In our kombucha class, you’ll learn to turn it into a refreshing, fizzy treat by adding a bit of juice or fruit to the mix!
Kombucha gets its health kick from the B vitamins and antioxidants, minerals and enzymes it contains, which combine for a wide variety of benefits, including:
- liver detoxification
- Improved pancreas function
- Increased energy
- Better digestion
- Enhanced mood (helps with anxiety/depression)
- Kills Candida (yeast)
- Helps nutrient assimilation
- Low calorie – One 16-ounce bottle contains about 60 calories, which is less than a soft drink
Now you can bring all these health benefits home to your family! And it’s so much more convenient and inexpensive than buying it at the store. When you learn how to make Kombucha in the Snow Creek Larkspur Kombucha class
